Spiritual awakening is a process that many people go through in their lives. It can be a difficult journey, but it is ultimately rewarding. In this blog post, I will discuss the spiritual awakening process and what you can expect to experience. I will also provide tips for making the journey as smooth as possible!

What is Spiritual Awakening?

Spiritual awakening is a term used to describe the process of becoming aware of your true nature. This includes understanding that you are not your thoughts, emotions, or physical body. You are an infinite being of pure consciousness. Once you realize this, you will begin to experience life in a whole new way. It’s like waking up one day with superpowers…just please don’t dress like a superhero.

It gets weird…

Spiritual awakening is often confused with finding a religion. However, they are two very different things. Religion is a set of beliefs and practices that you follow blindly. Spiritual awakening is about understanding your true nature and connecting with the infinite consciousness that surrounds us all.

The Spiritual Awakening Process

The spiritual awakening process can be divided into three stages: Ego Death, The Dark Night of the Soul, and Enlightenment. It’s a bumpy ride, but it’s a voyage we were built.

Just like the Titanic was built to sail oceans.

Ego Death

The first stage is called the ” ego death.” This is when you start to see through the illusion of your personal identity. This is often in the form of an event that shakes up your life and makes you question everything you know. This can be anything from a major life change to a traumatic experience. It can also be something as simple as reading a book or having a conversation with someone. You begin to realize that you are not your thoughts, emotions, or physical body. You are an infinite being of pure consciousness.

The Dark Night of the Soul

This is a period of intense inner turmoil. You may feel like you are losing your mind. Everything that you once believed in may be turned upside down. This is a necessary part of the process, as it allows you to let go of all attachments and false beliefs.

Enlightenment

This is when you finally reach a state of complete understanding. You realize that there is no such thing as death, and that we are all connected. You will experience a deep sense of peace and bliss.

Tips for Making the Journey

Spiritual awakening is the most difficult journey we as humans must go through. However, there are ways to make it easier. Here are some tips:

Be Patient with Yourself

The process can take years, or even a lifetime. As the old saying goes, “Rome wasn’t built in a day,” well neither were you.

“It was actually in just under twenty minutes of drunken sloppiness.”

Trust that you will get there eventually.

Be Open Minded

I can’t stress this enough: you must be willing to let go of everything you thought you knew. It,s difficult to let go of what we think we know. I know this from firsthand experience. I’m as stubborn as they come. Most of the best people I know are stubborn. But we must let go so we can grow inside and out. Only then can you move forward with your journey.

Stay Grounded

Remember to take care of your physical body and emotional needs during this time. This doesn’t mean you have to become a gym rat dead-lifts 700 pounds, but getting some good exercise in, eating healthy, and focusing on your mental health will do wonders for you. It is very important that these needs be met to grow.

Find a Support Group

If you’re an introvert like myself, this one can be a bit tough, but remember, a part of your spiritual awakening journey is stepping out of your comfort zone. There are many people who are going through the same thing. Connecting with others can help you feel less alone.

Trust Your Intuition

This one goes hand-in-hand with being open minded. Our brains, believe it or not, are constantly working against us. I don’t know why that is, but it’s an unfortunate fact. For example, your heart may want the ask a girl out, but your, fearing rejection won’t let you. Your intuition isn’t going to be right all the time and believe me, your brain will pounce on the opportunity to say it was right.

“I told you not to have that last shot. Now look at your naked handcuffed self in Central Park!”

Follow your heart, even if it leads you down a different path than you expected. Screw your brain.

Conclusion

Spiritual awakening is a beautiful process that can change your life forever.Remember: awakening is a journey, not a destination.
